SRYC Charities, with the generous support of the Illinois EPA LEAP grant, has developed a science resource trunk that is available for loan to elementary teachers or nonprofits. The trunk focuses on curriculum relating to water as a natural resource and feature activities and supplies that can be used to study local lakes and ponds.
The trunk includes curriculum guides (Project Wet), field guides, posters, books, journal prompts, digital microscope, laptop for microscope, water testing materials, scale models of fish, curriculum class kits, hand lenses, beakers, pipettes, test tubes and other science supplies to support the study of local lakes and ponds.
There is no cost associated with borrowing the science resource trunk. Please contact SRYC Charities for more details or to borrow the trunk.
